We had powerful storms that went through this area yesterday that left 25% of Lexington without power and the Cathedral was one of the facilities affected. One of my regular hours is 5 – 6 AM on Saturday morning and this morning the chapel was in total darkness with the exception of the candles and an occasional cell phone light.
I love watching the sun come up through the windows and with no artificial light at all I had to take advantage and shoot some pictures and watch as Jesus was lit up by His light through the windows.
