No better place to be at 3 AM

Father, I bring you all those in my heart, all those who have shared with me their struggles and all those who have requested prayers, especially those in my family.

I pray for families, that we strengthen them once again to be a strong defense against the enemy. Heal those broken relationships and let them find forgiveness in their hearts.

I pray for your Church, especially our bishops as they make this retreat. Show them your Face in the Eucharist. Make them into men of such belief that they can’t help but lead others to you and they become examples of strength, courage and forgiveness. Teach them that the happiness found in this life is no comparison to what awaits for those who follow you when they reach the next life.

Please help us find healing in our Church, in your Church, your Bride. Make Her, once again, the bulwark against the enemy.

For all who have died, eternal rest grant unto them

For those who are sick, let them put their suffering at the foot of the Cross and give them the strength and courage to face each new day.

Bless and keep all those this bonfire is for. Let your light shine on them.

Hear and answer the prayers of any who might read this. Let it be that Your will be done!

All of this I bring to you Father, through your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the Holy Spirit, for you are one God forever and ever.

Mary, undoer of knots, pray for us.

Saint Joseph, pray for all who will die today, especially those who have no one to pray for them.

Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us
