Wednesday already

Oh God, I come before you again thrashed by the waves of life. Thank you for your Gospel reading this morning and for the words of Saint Augustine – “He came treading the waves; and so, he puts all the swelling tumults of life under his feet. Christians — why be afraid?” Help me to always remember you got this and to trust in you.

This morning I bring you another little sister, Stephanie. Oh what a treasure you have there! Thank you for the beautiful person you have made her and the beautiful family you have given her.

Bless Stephanie and George, keep their marriage and family strong so they can continue to be examples for others. Walk with them so they can weather the storms of life and place their trust in you.

Thank you for giving them the gift of being grandparents, there is no higher honor or crowning achievement than this!

Bless and keep their children, grandchild, and all future and past ancestors in your light. Please hear and answer the prayers they offer you.

Mary, Mother of God, our Queen and Mother, please take these prayers to your Son and ask that He grant them. I offer my Rosary this morning especially for Stephanie and her intentions. Mary, you know best what she needs – please intercede for those needs.

Please watch over all who will be traveling – allow safe journeys and successful ventures.

Ignite our souls with the grace of faith and inflame our hearts with your Love!

Saint Joseph, patron of departing souls, pray for all who will die today, especially those who have no one to pray for them.

Skippy’s Day

Good morning Father, so many times you have an amusing way of answering prayers – like you did this morning. Thank you for the clarity.

Today I bring you my husband, Skip. Please accept this hour of prayer and all the bumps and bruises of today along with all the smiles and joys as an offering for his intentions.

Please lead Skip to the particular ministry where You want him to be and where You know the gifts you have given him will be the most beneficial for your people, for your kingdom. You have gifted him with so many to share!

I pray for Skip’s parents, Mike and Paul, and for all of his ancestors, and ask those who can, to pray with me and offer these prayers back for Skip.

Lord, Skip and I come from such different paths and sometimes that causes friction and tension, help us both recognize that and be patient with one another, much like you have been patient with us.

Help me to love Skip more. Help me to always see him as one of your magnificent creations, and to recognize you in him.

Please bless him this day. Bless all those he loves, especially those grandbabies. Help him lead them to you and let them know how much you love them.

Allow Skip to feel the presence of your love today, and every day, send his angel to watch over him.

Mary, Mother of God, our Queen and Mother, please take these prayers to your Son and ask that He grant them. I offer my Rosary this morning especially for Skip and his intentions. Mary, you know best what he needs – please intercede for those needs.

Mondays……

I love starting my week and my Monday here with you! The only light shining is on you and the only sounds are the silence sounds that we can’t hear because of our noisy world!

Why you have blessed me so that you wait here for me to come spend time and talk with you! Please, help me never take you for granted!

Today is when I begin to bring my family to you by name and today let’s talk about my little sister, Ellen. What a joyful example you have in her! Even when life tried to beat her down, she has always found something to smile about – and that is infectious to others!

Thank you for the example of her and Tim’s marriage and family and their faithfulness to your Church. Lead them and guide them and let your Holy Spirit work in their lives.

Bless all of their children, grandchildren, past and future ancestors. Please accept this hour in prayer especially for all of them in whatever their need may be. I know you, Father, are not constrained by time and with you, by you, all things are possible!

Watch over Ellen & Tim and their family. Let them feel your loving presence in their life.

Mary, Mother of God, our Queen and Mother, please take these prayers to your Son and ask that He grant them. I offer my Rosary this morning especially for Ellen and her intentions. Mary, you know what she needs – please intercede for those needs.

Wow Mary, I am so sorry!

This morning I heard a homily about the Christmas season being a time to use your imagination. To imagine what it was like in the stable. What the animals were doing, the shepherds, kings, etc. And it was like Christmas was the only time we could meditate on and imagine these scenes!

Just think if he had taken the opportunity to promote praying the rosary and meditating on the mysteries of Christ’s life daily! Twice a week you would be in that stable at Christmastime!

Just think if he would have talked about Mary holding all these things in her heart and if we ask her to show us her picture book of her Son’s life, she will. Oh imagine the insight Mary can give us that can only come from a Mother!

Oh how sad it is when you can tell a minister of God is not in love with Mary the Mother of God! Oh how sad that they cannot lead others to her who in turn leads you to the Heart of Jesus. Oh how sad when they meet Jesus in the afterlife and He asks if they know His mother. Who is more important to a son than his mother?

So this morning and every morning I will pray that the priests of His Church fall in love with His Mother and bring others to her.

Pray the Rosary – it will change your life!

The Ephiany

Father, please open my ears, my mind and my heart this morning to hear what you have to say to me, my mind to understand and my heart to hold it dear

Thank you for the journey you have brought Diane on and bless and hear her prayers, especially today on the second anniversary of her confirmation as a Catholic.

As the 3 kings worshipped and adored and acknowledged as King of all, the Baby Jesus, let us worship, adore and acknowledge Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Please hear the prayers of all who stop to visit you today. Bless them and keep your loving arms around them. Help them share You with others.

Mary, thank you for your fiat. Please pray for all of us.

All of this I ask you through our Lord Jesus Christ and with the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Interesting that this is the end of my meditation today….
Resolution: I will work to improve my charity with the members of my family today, loving them as Christ does.

January 5th

Father, allow our bishops, who are all gathered together now, to see the Face of Jesus in the Eucharist they celebrate. Ignite them with a flame of faith and set them on fire with zeal to proclaim your Holy Name to everyone! Make them shepherds that their flock want to follow, and shepherds who will lead the flock entrusted to them, to you, no matter the cost!

Mary, Queen of priests, pray for them.

Saint John Neuman, pray for them.

Saint Ambrose, pray for them.

Saint Augustine, pray for them.

Amen.

January 4th

No better place to be at 3 AM

Father, I bring you all those in my heart, all those who have shared with me their struggles and all those who have requested prayers, especially those in my family.

I pray for families, that we strengthen them once again to be a strong defense against the enemy. Heal those broken relationships and let them find forgiveness in their hearts.

I pray for your Church, especially our bishops as they make this retreat. Show them your Face in the Eucharist. Make them into men of such belief that they can’t help but lead others to you and they become examples of strength, courage and forgiveness. Teach them that the happiness found in this life is no comparison to what awaits for those who follow you when they reach the next life.

Please help us find healing in our Church, in your Church, your Bride. Make Her, once again, the bulwark against the enemy.

For all who have died, eternal rest grant unto them

For those who are sick, let them put their suffering at the foot of the Cross and give them the strength and courage to face each new day.

Bless and keep all those this bonfire is for. Let your light shine on them.

Hear and answer the prayers of any who might read this. Let it be that Your will be done!

All of this I bring to you Father, through your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the Holy Spirit, for you are one God forever and ever.

Mary, undoer of knots, pray for us.

Saint Joseph, pray for all who will die today, especially those who have no one to pray for them.

Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us

January 3rd

I believe, I adore, I hope, I love and I trust you Jesus.

I beg your pardon on those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope, do not love and do not trust you.

Especially those in my own family. Bring them back dear Lord, please bring them back.

Father, I have a full day today. Thank you for being here so I can start this day with you. Help me to be patient, joyful and helpful and above all else, help me be the person you designed and desire me to be.

Ignite my soul with faith and inflame my heart with love.

All of this I ask through our Lord, Jesus Christ and with the Holy Spirit, One God forever and ever. Amen

Mary, Queen of Heaven and earth, pray for us

January 2nd

Jesus,

My family will start to receive my letter. Please grant them, and me, open hearts to feel your presence, open minds to hear and understand what you want to say to us and open mouths to proclaim your truth in our lives.

I ask that you hear the prayers of all those who read this and answer them in your almighty goodness, for we know and acknowledge that your will is the will that should be done.

Please bless them and keep them. Let your light shine upon them. And if they have distanced themselves from you, put your messengers in their paths to guide them back to your loving arms.

Ignite my soul with the flames of faith and inflame my heart with the fire of your love! Amen

Mary, Mother of God, pray for us!

Saint Basil, pray for us!
